This page is dedicated to Danny Watt's trip to Detroit to visit the "Motown Museum".
This was the first and original home of Tamla Motown records, this is where it all
began. When compared to todays world it doesn't look much , but this must be
the original "From Little Acorns Grow". Who would have guessed what was going
to come out of 2648 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit,USA.

Eventually Motown moved on and in the end it was sold by Berry Gordy the founder,
but one thing is they can never take the sound away. Unfortunately once Motown
left Detroit in my opinion the sound was rarely the same again, but I suppose things
must move on.

If you are ever in Detroit anyone can visit the museum, make sure you make the
effort to see for yourself where it all began. When you are bopping to some of those
magic "Toms Sounds" just remember this is where it came from.

Once again thanks Danny for making the effort.
